In celebration of Indiana Members Credit Union’s 60th birthday in 2016, IMCU hosted the IMCU Gives Back Campaign awarding $6,000 to nonprofit organizations each quarter in 2016. The $24,000 went to organizations that serve Health (quarter one), Education (quarter two), Veterans (quarter three), and Homeless/Basic Needs (quarter four). IMCU highlighted the quarterly category on its website where the public voted for their favorite nominated organization. The organization that received the most votes was awarded the $6,000.
In total over 50,000 votes were placed during the IMCU Gives Back Campaign. The following nonprofit organizations were the recipients of the $6,000 donation:
Quarter One Winner – Health Related Category: St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild

Quarter Three Winner – Veterans Related Category: InteCare, Inc.
In 2013, InteCare was awarded a Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) grant from the Department of Veteran Affairs. The purpose of the SSVF program is to promote housing stability among very low-income Veteran families who reside in or are transitioning to permanent housing. Quarter Four Winner – Homeless/Basic Needs Category: The PourHouse, Inc.
The PourHouse assists individuals experiencing homelessness in overcoming barriers to housing, treatment and healthcare.
